PLACEMENTS Management students take part in organizing various recruitment drives and actively participate as coordinators and make it successful by handling around 10000 students from various colleges. They may also announce the summer placement dates after this February. Experts believe that the move might lead to chaos in the placement schedule, as it might trigger a competition within market to get placement done first and get the best of the recruiters for the students. This means one’s gain would be another’s loss. Besides, lack of co-ordination for placement dates might ruin opportunities for students. They will be left with fewer options to be absorbed by the best of the recruiters according to their specialization and merit.
