ABOUT MECHANICAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT:

The department of “MECHANICAL ENGINEERING” was started in the year 2009 with an intake of 60 students & enhanced to 120 students from the academic year 2013-14 .

Mechanical engineers are recognized for their knowledge and skills in conceiving, designing, implementing and operating devices, machines, engines, energy systems and a host of other working things.  In a wide range of exciting industries, including aerospace, automotive, biomedical, chemical, computer, electronics, fossil and nuclear power, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, robotics and textiles, In public sector enterprises like Railways, ONGC, Indian Oil, ISRO, SAIL, NTPC, DRDO and IAF wide employment opportunities are available for the students. The Departmnet is a member of ISYE and institute of Engineers - India

The Department of Mechanical engineering is designed to provide the fundamental technical knowledge and practical exposure in a wide spectrum of areas related to Product Design, Manufacture thermal systems, Industrial Engineering and Automation.
